Digital Databases

The following subscription websites are available to NH public library users. These resources are funded by the NH State Library, additional grant funding from the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the Library Services and Technology Act administered by the NH State Librarian.

Databases provide full text articles from thousands of magazines, journals, and national newspapers ranging from Time  and PC World to The Journal of Nursing Research to Library Journal. Most, but not all titles, are available in full text and include the most current issues as well as years of back issues.


Holds information about fiction titles, namely reviews, booktalks, series order, lexile rating, award winners, and tools to help you find similar books you'll enjoy.


NoveList K-8
Similar to NoveList but includes information on children's fiction.




Offers full text articles from the Concord Monitor (from October 2002) and the New Hampshire Union Leader (from January 1989). It is possible to browse by date or full text searching. Only articles written by the Monitor and Union Leader staff are available. For national articles, see EBSCOHost databases. Includes obituaries.
